COVID-19 Update
Latest update: April 04, 2021
We are currently operating with a limited number of staff. There may be some delays in service turnaround times and shipping for orders placed on our webstore.
Please note that during this time we will not be closely monitoring our phone. If you need to get in contact with us please send us an email and we'll do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.
We will be keeping our service shop door locked until further notice. If you are coming to our Function Junction store please knock on the door or front window and a staff member will assist you.
Update: March 08, 2021
Please be mindful that during the ongoing global pandemic that parts availability is changing regularly. There may be instances where delays are experienced due to parts shortages, and in some cases replacement parts may simply be unavailable. Some services may be unavailable to book if we do not have the required service parts and kits to satisfactorily complete a service.
Update: February 01, 2021
We are open for business. Please see the notices on the window/door when visiting our Function Junction workshop.
We are working on catching up on orders and servicing. If you have any questions please email us at service@vorsprungsuspension.com
Update: January 29, 2021
We are still on track to reopen on Monday, February 1st.
Our phone will be active but please email us unless the matter is urgent. We will be prioritising catching up on the backlog of services and online orders. We will aim to respond to all emails within 1 business day, in general you should receive a reply within a few hours.
Cases of COVID-19 are increasing in Whistler. One shut down has been more than enough for us, we do not intend to have this happen again. To protect you, our staff, and to keep Vorsprung Suspension open to the public we will be implementing new rules at our store.
New protocols for visitors to our Function Junction store
First and foremost, please don't come to the store unless you need to. We can do a lot by email and phone. But we know that service items do need to be dropped off and collected in person. With that in mind, please consider the following.
We will be roping off all but a small part of reception area of our store. Our staff will be wearing masks, we request that you do the same.
When entering the store please sanitise your hands with the provided bottle. Forks and shocks can be placed on the front desk, we will sanitise them before putting them in our storage area.
If you are bringing a whole bike to us please leave it outside the store. We can inspect it outside if required, and we will bring it into the store after sanitising the contact points.
Payments for services can be made over the phone, by etransfer, or by card in store.
We will remain open to the public for servicing and product sales. In an effort to minimise unnecessary contact we will not be offering any in person tuning or setup assistance unless you have a service booking. If you have questions regarding setup please email us.
We hope to return to more normal operating conditions in the coming weeks. But for now we need to be strict with these rules. We are in a fortunate position to be able to keep operating during the COVID-19 outbreak in Whistler. We're here to help you, please help us to be able to continue doing this.
